George Russell Reveals Marriage Plans With Girlfriend Carmen Mundt: ‘Without Doubt She's My Future'
Mercedes Formula 1 driver George Russell has confirmed his intention to marry long-term girlfriend Carmen Mundt ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix weekend. The 28-year-old spoke openly about his relationship with Mundt in an interview with The Times, crediting her as the person who keeps him grounded throughout the pressures of F1. Russell has endured a difficult recent run of results, retiring from the Canadian Grand Prix on lap 30 after suffering a power unit failure while leading the race. That retirement handed victory to Mercedes team-mate Kimi Antonelli, who now leads the drivers' championship by 43 points over Russell.
