Russell pinpoints an area he wants to improve for the coming races
F1 Grand Prix, GP Barcelona-Catalunya, Circuit de Catalunya Mercedes driver George Russell looked in control of the Barcelona‑Catalunya Grand Prix on Sunday only to see victory slip away through strategy and his issues with tyre management. Yet his second‑place finish, combined with the retirement of teammate Andrea Kimi Antonelli, delivered a valuable haul of points and kept Mercedes firmly in the championship fight.
