George Russell Wins Austrian Grand Prix As FIA Confirms Final Classification
George Russell claimed victory at the 2026 Austrian Grand Prix, with the FIA now confirming the final race classification following the conclusion of all penalty reviews. Russell crossed the finish line marginally ahead of four-time world champion Max Verstappen, who pushed hard until the very end of the 71-lap race at the Red Bull Ring. Verstappen had started from fifth on the grid and drove an impressive recovery race at his team's home circuit, but ultimately fell 1.611 seconds short of taking the win.
