Monza secures sprint race from 2027

Jul.7 Monza will host Formula 1's sprint format from 2027 after organisers reached a three-year agreement with the sport. The announcement was made by Automobile Club d'Italia president Geronimo La Russa during the launch of this year's Italian GP events in Milan. 'We've reached an agreement,' La Russa said. 'Starting next year, for three years, we'll have the Sprint race.' La Russa also revealed that this year's Italian GP is already sold out, with organisers adding a temporary grandstand to meet demand.
