Video: Maldonado shunts while doing demo in front of home fans
Aug.15 (Apex) Crash prone Pastor Maldonado emerged red faced from the Williams cockpit after he slammed a pavement during a demo run in front of some 20,000 fans gathered to watch the Venezuelan F1 driver – their new national hero – in Caracas. Apparently the bumpy surface caught out the Spanish Grand Prix winner, as the Williams went sideways and slammed the curb causing damage to the left back wheel. Maldonado was unscathed, although reports are his ego was somewhat bruised!
