Schumacher receives F1 car as farewell gift
Michael Schumacher will be given a parting gift by Mercedes when he retires at the end of the season. According to German publication Bild, the 43-year-old is set to keep the F1 W03 chassis he guided to pole position for the 2012 Monaco Grand Prix. The aforementioned result, although amended to sixth after a 5-place grid penalty from the previous event, stands as one of Schumacher's highlights during his second phase in the sport. His personal best race result was achieved in Valencia earlier this year, where he impressively fought through the field to finish in third place.
