Williams closes in on Force India
Williams registered a double points finish for the second time this season at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday pushing the British team 22 points from seventh in the constructors’ championship, currently held by Force India. From third on the grid, Pastor Maldonado ended up losing two places by the end of the 55-lap race as the Venezuelan was handicapped after he lost the use of KERS following the first safety car period. As a result, the Spanish Grand Prix winner reckoned that he missed the opportunity to finish on the podium. “For sure there was more in the car,” Maldonado said. “The pace was good and at the beginning I was closing the gap to Kimi (Raikkonen)...
