Di Resta pushing to solve setup gremlins

Paul di Resta experienced a somewhat trying start to the Austin weekend, finishing 18th and quicker only than Formula 1’s three newest teams. The Scot, who would be eliminated in Q1 if he qualified in the same place, is now pushing to solve issues with his car setup. “I said (on Thursday) that getting the tyres working was going to be difficult – and so it proved,” the Scot began. “The track surface is very smooth and the temperatures were not especially high, which probably didn’t help us. “We’ve identified some issues and haven’t found the best direction with the setup yet, so we need to work hard to make the car easier to drive.
