Ferrari: The matter is now closed

Ferrari have drawn a line under the flag controversy after the FIA offered them a written explanation. Sebastian Vettel brought his RB8 home in sixth place last Sunday in Brazil to beat Fernandno Alonso to the Drivers' Championship by three points. In the days following footage emerged from the Red Bull racer's car camera appearing to show him overtaking Jean-Eric Vergne while yellow light boards were being displayed on lap four. This prompted an outcry with Ferrari revealing they received "tens of thousands of queries" from concerned tifosi.
