Turkish return up to the government
5mo ago from PlanetF1.com - Whether or not the Turkish Grand Prix returns to the Formula One calendar seems now to be in the hands of the country's government.
Istanbul Park circuit operator Vural Ak has met with Bernie Ecclestone and the pair are said to have struck a deal to bring F1 back to the venue which hosted a grand prix from 2005 to 2011.
However, the final stamp of approval must be given by the Turkish government.
