Gene extends Ferrari test driver deal
4mo ago from PlanetF1.com - Marc Gene will remain with Ferrari for a further season after extending his test driver role.
The Spaniard, who started 36 grands prix with a best result of fifth at the 2003 Italian GP, joined Ferrari in late 2004 after parting ways with Williams.
Despite F1 banning in-season testing, Gene has remained with the Italian stable, even signing for an additional season.
