Austin to host F1 In Schools World Finals 2013
F1 in Schools™ have announced that it will stage its ninth World Finals event in Austin, Texas to coincide with the 2013 Formula 1 United States Grand Prix which takes place at Circuit of The Americas in November. Over 250 students from around the world are expected to attend the event after winning the National Finals in their home countries.The educational initiative, which takes place in over 40 countries, aims to help change perceptions of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) by creating a fun and exciting learning environment for young people to develop an informed view about careers in engineering, Formula 1, science, marketing and technology.
