Wolff leaves Williams as Mercedes restructures

Toto Wolff has relinquished his post as Williams’ executive director with immediate effect to pursue the same role at Mercedes, with the Austrian now holding shares in both the teams. Daimler, the parent company of Mercedes, has signed a letter of intent with Wolff which will allow the investor to acquire a significant minority interest in the Formula 1 team.
