Pirelli deny Kobayashi rumours
Rumours that Kamui Kobayashi is heading to Pirelli have proven untrue with Jaime Alguersuari and Lucas di Grassi retaining their test driver roles.
On Wednesday Tweets emerged claiming that Kobayashi, who was left without a race-seat for 2013 after being dropped by Sauber, would take up a role as a Pirelli test driver.
However, this proved to be incorrect as Pirelli's motorsport director Paul Hembery revealed that the Italian tyre manufacturer would not be altering their test driver line-up.
"I read on Twitter that [Kamui] Kobayashi would be unveiled as a test driver, but he won't," said Hembery.
"There is no reason to change what we have. We have had a great time...
