Glock departure secures Marussia's future

Marussia sporting director Graeme Lowdon says the departure of Timo Glock is the type of decision that is required to safeguard the team's future. Glock left Marussia last week by mutual consent despite having a contract through until the end of 2014, with team principal John Booth admitting that the move was driven by "tough economic conditions". With a pay driver expected to replace Glock in order to increase the team's income, Lowdon emphasised the importance of the change.
