The statistic has been boosted for 2013 by the retirement of 44-year-old Michael Schumacher, making 36-year-old Australian Mark Webber now the oldest driver in Formula 1. Also helping is the arrival of youngsters including 21 year olds Esteban Gutierrez, Max Chilton and 22 year olds Valtteri Bottas and Jules Bianchi.
