Tyre decisions proved to be Perez' main influence on his poor qualifying result, which he reiterated: "The luck was not with us today, because when we put the first set of Options on, I had a puncture and when I went back to the pits, I lost a lot of time because of the puncture that happened in turn 9. So I lost a lot of time to come back into the pits and then we went for another set of Options, there was no time to come back to the pits...
