Adrian Sutil enjoys a day in the lead

March 17th, 2013 (F1Plus / Jacob Polychronis) - Adrian Sutil spent a large portion of Sunday’s Australian Grand Prix in the lead, until his tyres inevitably succumbed to the pressures of a two-stop strategy. Nonetheless, Sutil’s race was impressive as he retained the lead after his first pit-stop. Eventually, it was the requirement to use the fragile supersoft compound that was his undoing. Sutil, speaking after the race, expressed his surprise to be running at the front.
