Sepang keeps single DRS zone for 2013

A single DRS zone will again be in place for this year's Malaysian Grand Prix, with governing body the FIA deciding to retain the start-finish straight activiation point. The detection line is placed just before the braking zone for Turn 15, the final corner of the circuit. Drivers who are within a second of a car at that point will then able to activate DRS five metres after the hairpin, running until the braking area of Turn 1. The Sepang International Circuit, designed by Hermann Tilke, will celebrate its 15th Formula 1 race in 2013, having opened and staged its first Grand Prix back in 1999.
