Ecclestone looks to switch from Interlagos to Rio

25 March, 2013 Fans at Interlagos Formula 1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone has admitted he is considering dropping Interlagos from the Formula 1 calendar. Early this week, we reported that Indycar driver Helio Castroneves had repeated rumours that 'Formula 1 might move from Sao Paulo' to another Brazilian location. 'Obviously it's all about how much the promoters are willing to spend,' the Brazilian driver said. Indeed, Britain's Daily Mail reveals that Formula 1 chief executive Ecclestone, who has not travelled to the opening two races of the 2013 calendar, has in fact just returned from Rio de Janeiro.
