Lotus expected Sepang dip in form

Lotus team principal Eric Boullier says the team are not surprised that they were not quite able to match their Australian form in Malaysia. Kimi Raikkonen came from seventh on the grid to beat pre-season favourites Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso to the chequered flag in Melbourne, but he couldn't repeat that performance at Sepang. The Finn ended up finishing seventh on Sunday with his team-mate Romain Grosjean one spot ahead of him. Boullier, though, says their form was always going to differ from track to track with conditions and Pirelli tyres playing a big role. "It is a prediction we had after the winter testing," he said.
