Ecclestone backs Vettel

Bernie Ecclestone has defended Sebastian Vettel's flouting of the rules in Sepang, saying the German proved himself to be a winner. The reigning World Champion courted controversy last time out in Malaysia when he deliberately ignored team orders to overtake team-mate Mark Webber for the victory. The incident has earned widespread criticism, however, Ecclestone believes he did the right thing. "If I was Sebastian Vettel, having won three World Championships for the team, and somebody came on the radio and started giving me instructions I'd probably do exactly the same as Kimi Raikkonen did when he came back and they gave him some instructions, I'd say 'I know what I'm doing'," he...
