Bernie Ecclestone has defended Sebastian Vettel's flouting of the rules in Sepang, saying the German proved himself to be a winner. The reigning World Champion courted controversy last time out in Malaysia when he deliberately ignored team orders to overtake team-mate Mark Webber for the victory. The incident has earned widespread criticism, however, Ecclestone believes he did the right thing.
