McLaren boss Martin Whitmarsh has said he will be 'disappointed' if the team don't take 'another step' in China.McLaren opted to go radical with their new 2013 F1 car, the MP4-28, even though last year's car was considered one of – if not – the fastest. In contrast, a lot of the other teams opted for more evolutionary designs, and to date the gamble by the Woking-based outfit hasn't paid off.Indeed the season opener in Australia was something of a nightmare, and while Malaysia more recently looked a lot more positive and the squad made rapid progress - with Jenson Button commenting he might have got on the podium but for a botched pit stop - McLaren still has some way to go before it...
