Ricciardo: everything clicked into place

Daniel Ricciardo was relieved to convert his strong qualifying performance into a maiden points finish of the season at Shanghai on Sunday afternoon, crossing the line in seventh place after a Grand Prix focused around Pirelli's tyre compounds. The Toro Rosso driver, who adds six points to his team's championship tally, says he felt "everything clicked into place" after a flurry of technical changes in recent months. "I am really pleased to score my first points of the season and to confirm the qualifying performance," said Ricciardo, who retained his position despite an early front wing change.
