Rosberg inherits Schumacher's bad luck

Michael Schumacher’s three years with Mercedes were marked with plenty of disappointing performances, largely due to an underpar car and plenty of bad luck. With the seven-time world champion now retired, the unwanted baton seems to have been passed on to Nico Rosberg, who retired in two of the opening three races, while teammate Lewis Hamilton claimed two podiums. This is Rosberg’s worst run since 2006, when he failed to finish three straight races with Williams that season at Hungary, Turkey and Italy due to mechanical issues. If this wasn’t enough, the 27-year-old German had to respect the “not-so-fun” team orders and stay off the podium in the only race...
