Vettel pleased with ‘beautiful race'

Sebastian Vettel says he is pleased with the way he was able to control the Bahrain Grand Prix. Vettel started from second place but slipped to third behind Fernando Alonso. The reigning world champion was able to muscle his way back through Alonso at Turn 4 and soon dispatched with compatriot Nico Rosberg to head into the lead. 'It was a fantastic race,' said Vettel. 'A big thank you to the team. It was faultless from start to finish. I knew it was crucial to get into the lead and go from there, looking after the tyres.
