V8: KURT BUSCH to drive V8 Supercar around COTA
NASCAR bad boy Kurt Busch will take to the wheel of a V8 Supercar at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, this week.
The 2004 Sprint Cup champion, who races for Furniture Row Racing, will bring his Chevrolet SS Sprint Cup car to the Austin circuit on Tuesday for comparison with the Commodore Car Of The Future prototype.
The media event is part of the Austin 400 promotion that has seen James Courtney turn laps of the COTA in the Commodore during this weekend’s Austin MotoGP meeting.
“OK now that was cool….,” said Courtney via Twitter.
Australian motorcross star Chad Reed is will also drive the V8 Supercar as part of the week’s festivities.
