Mercedes teams up with Tata Communications

The Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team today announced a new partnership with Tata Communications who will help the team in delivering 'world-class trackside connectivity' to the team. The addition of the firm to the team will help to deliver super-fast data and information from any Grand Prix location back to the teams Brackley based factory, with speeds being up to 'three times faster' for the team. Tata Communications will become the 'Official Managed Connectivity Supplier' for Mercedes, enabling the team to react better to on track developments over the race weekend which will then help to increase the performance of their 2013 car, the W04.
