Williams eye European boost

Williams are hopeful that they will be able to start catching up to their midfield rivals now that Formula One is back on European soil. The Grove squad had high hopes of challenging higher up the grid at the start of the season, but Pastor Maldonado and Valtteri Bottas have instead found life very difficult. The duo are yet to make it through to Q3 while team also failed to pick up a point in the first four flyaway races. However, chief race engineer Xevi Pujolar says their technical staff have been working hard to improve the FW34 ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix this weekend.
