Sergio Perez has admitted that McLaren are not expecting to find huge performance gains with their upgrade package for this weekends Spanish Grand Prix. The team has had a below-par start to the season due to struggles with the evolutionary MP4-28. Taking more of a risk has so far failed to pay off and they currently find themselves lying sixth in the constructors standings, behind Mercedes and Force India.
