Massa and Gutierrez handed grid penalties

Felipe Massa and Esteban Gutierrez will both start three places lower than they qualified for the Spanish Grand Prix after the stewards found them to have blocked rival drivers during qualifying. Massa will drop from sixth to ninth after he blocked Mark Webber during Q2. The penalty benefits the Australian as he is promoted from eighth to seventh, whilst Romain Grosjean and Sergio Perez both move up a position. Sauber driver Gutierrez meanwhile drops to 19th, benefitting Valtteri Bottas, Pastor Maldonado and Giedo van der Garde after the Mexican blocked Kimi Raikkonen at the final chicane during Q1.
