No thought of quitting, says Whitmarsh

Martin Whitmarsh has ruled out resigning as McLaren Team Principal amid the outfit’s challenging start to the 2013 Formula 1 campaign, insisting that his thoughts are solely focused on returning to the front of the grid as the year progresses. Whitmarsh, who was promoted following Ron Dennis’ decision to leave the squad in the early stages of the 2009 season, has failed to win a title in his tenure, but insists that he is not pondering a departure and remains confident of support at board level.
