Alonso takes popular home victory in Spain

May 12th, 2013 (F1Plus / Chris Cameron-Dow) - The Ferrari pair of Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa finished first and third in Spain, after a strong display from the Italian team. Kimi Raikkonen came second for Lotus, after looking like he might be able to challenge for the win in the middle part of he race.  For Mercedes, the race was a complete disaster. Rosberg and Hamilton started on the front row, but simply did not have the pace to compete in the race. Hamilton was passed by a Williams at one stage, which did not amuse him, as he told the team on the radio.
