Button “embarrassed” after McLaren’s woeful pace in Spain

Jenson Button has explained how he felt embarrassed after the Spanish Grand Prix, where McLaren once again failed to excel after a woeful display of pace around Barcelona’s Circuit de Catalunya. The McLaren duo eventually finished 8th and 9th respectively, in a race dominated by tyres. After being frustratingly eliminated from qualifying at the end of Q2, Jenson Button found himself way down in 17th position after the opening lap of the race.
