F1 2013 – Honda to announce F1 return?

With rumours circulating that McLaren has failed to renew their contract with Mercedes to use their engines beyond 2014, reports are suggesting that McLaren are set to turn to Honda power for the 2015 season.Nikkel – a Japanese publication is reporting the deal has been done and that an announcement from Honda will be “sometime soon”.Hondas speculated return to formula 1 is said to be based around the environmentally friendly direction the engine regulations are heading in. Honda last appeared in the sport during the 2008 season until they withdrew and sold the team to Ross Brawn which has since become the Mercedes works team.
