It has emerged that Mercedes conducted a secret test with Pirelli between the Spanish and Monaco Grands Prix, which has left the German manufacturer’s rivals unhappy. Mercedes ran 1,000kms at Barcelona over three days a week ago, which rivals believe gave the team - that has claimed four straight pole positions - an unfair advantage.
