Bottas pleased to finish the race despite no points for Williams

Valtteri Bottas has expressed satisfaction after eventually finishing the incident-filled Monaco Grand Prix, which included numerous safety car appearances and a red flag delay caused when team-mate Pastor Maldonado collided with Max Chilton. Once again the Grove-based outfit were unable to secure their first points of the season. After a topsy-turvy qualifying session in the damp conditions around the Monte-Carlo street circuit, the Williams duo were optimistic for the 78-lap race that they would be able to eventually score the team’s first points of the season.
