Rosberg rules around the streets of Mo-Nico

They tried throwing rain at him in qualifying. They even threw a red flag in there for measure. But ultimately nothing was going to prevent Nico Rosberg from securing his second Formula 1 victory in commanding style around the streets of Monte Carlo. Rosberg’s pole margin over team-mate Lewis Hamilton wasn’t as large as expected but it was an advantage nonetheless. The German converted that benefit into the lead at the end of the first lap, despite neither Silver Arrows making a strong start.
