Ferrari blames Massa crash on suspension failure
Ferrari says a front suspension failure caused Felipe Massa's crash at the Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday. The Brazilian driver ploughed into the wall and slid across the track on lap 29 in a carbon-copy of his crash in Saturday's third practice. Massa was able to climb out of his damaged car and was taken to a hospital for check-ups before being released. In a statement on its website Tuesday, Ferrari said an examination of Massa's car confirmed early speculation that the crash was caused by an 'element of the front left suspension breaking.' It also said Massa was fine and would only need a few days of rest ahead of the Canadian Grand Prix. It said Massa's participation at the next race...
