Mike O'Driscoll has been appointed new group chief executive of Williams following Alex Burns' departure. The struggling Grove squad confirmed on Wednesday that Burns, who had filled the role since 2010, had left the team with immediate effect. O'Driscoll, a former managing director of Jaguar Cars, will now "guide the long-term future" of the Williams F1 Team and Williams Advanced Engineering and will report to founder Sir Frank Williams and the board.
