New Pirelli tyres will be 'interesting to run' - Michael

McLaren's sporting director Sam Michael says a lot of analysis will take place when the teams get to run Pirelli's new tyres in Friday practice for the Canadian Grand Prix. With concerns over safety, Pirelli planned on introducing revised tyres for this weekend's race but decided to allow the teams the opportunity to test them first during FP1 and FP2. All teams will get two sets of the updated medium compound and Michael said the most important thing will be for the teams to understand if they have any aerodynamic impact.
