Mercedes 'welcome' International Tribunal

Mercedes have "welcomed" the FIA's decision to press ahead with an International Tribunal as they want the chance to explain the facts in an "open and transparent manner." At the last grand prix in Monaco, it emerged that Mercedes had held a private three-day test with Pirelli at the Circuit de Catalunya. The revalations, though, did not stop there as it was later confirmed that Ferrari also took part in a private test with F1's tyre supplier. However, Ferrari ran a 2011 F150 Italia while Mercedes used this year's W04. As such Ferrari have been cleared of any wrong-doing while Mercedes now face the FIA's International Tribunal after motorsport's governing body announced...
