Alonso tops second practice in Montreal

Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso topped the timesheets in the second practice session for the Canadian Grand Prix on Friday afternoon. The Ferrari driver, who recorded a best effort of 1:14.818 on the Super Soft rubber, outpaced Mercedes rival Lewis Hamilton by 12 thousandths of a second, while Romain Grosjean finished third.
