In-season testing looks set to make its return to Formula 1 for the 2014 season after teams voted in favour of a move to increase testing during the year. 2014 looks set to be one of the longest seasons in the sports history. 21 races could be placed on the calendar alongside four pre-season tests – an additional one looks to be added with the potential of it taking place in warmer climates – and now a meeting of the Sporting Working Group (SWG) has confirmed the vote in favour of a return to in-season testing too.
