Sebastian Vettel says his victory in the Canadian Grand Prix justifies his previous comments about the structural safety of Pirelli's tyres. The reigning world champion had suggested that Pirelli's tyres needed modifying to prevent delaminations that struck in several events this season. Vettel says his comments show that he was concerned about safety, rather than Red Bull seeking to gain extra performance through modified tyres. 'I think it's pretty simple.
