Pirelli confirm no tyre construction changes

By Phillip Horton on Thursday, June 13, 2013 Pirelli has confirmed that there will be no changes to the construction of the PZero tyre, contrary to initial plans. Pirelli had intended to bring a modified tyre to the British Grand Prix but these plans have now changed. 'This decision is due to the fact that the new tyres, which were brought to the Friday free practice sessions in Canada, could not be tested sufficiently due to rain – and that the teams failed to agree unanimously about introducing the changes,' read a Pirelli statement.
