Vergne: An important result

Jean-Eric Vergne is determined to "keep the momentum" after securing the first back-to-back points of his F1 career. The Toro Rosso driver brought his STR8 home in eighth place in Monaco before following that up with a P6 in Montreal. Having scored just seven times in his career, it was the 23-year-old's first back-to-back top ten results. "This is an important result. It shows we are doing a good job, especially at the factory," said the Frenchman. "It gives everybody in the team a shot of confidence and that includes me.
