Ricciardo wants back on level terms

Having lost ground to his team-mate in recent races, Daniel Ricciardo is determined to close up on Jean-Eric Vergne in Britain. Although Ricciardo led the battle in the opening few races of the Championship, the Aussie has lost ground to Vergne in the two races. While the Frenchman scored points in both the Monaco and Canadian races, Ricciardo retired from the first when he was hit by Romain Grosjean and could only manage 15th place in Montreal. "It's very frustrating because these last two races are probably my two favourite tracks on the calendar and they've turned out badly," he wrote in his Toro Rosso blog.
