Infinity Racing looked at other teams

Mansoor Ijaz, chairman of Infinity Racing and new part owner of the Lotus F1 team, revealed that he spoke with three other teams before opting for Lotus. Earlier this week, investment group Infinity Racing purchased a 35 per cent stake in the Lotus Formula One team. However, Lotus wasn't the only team on Infinity's - which comprises private investors from America, Abu Dhabi and an unidentified oil producing nation - radar for a while.
