Kristensen takes 9th Le Mans victory with Audi

Tom Kristensen, Loic Duval and Alan McNish have won the 2013 Le Mans 24 hours race in the Audi #2. The Toyota #8 finished in second place, followed by Audi #3. The winners enjoyed a trouble free race which effectively won them this race. The initially leading Audi #1 in the hands of last year's winners suffered electrical issues late in the evening that put them back. Audi #2 fell back slightly due to a flat tyre the same evening but fought back to get into third place in the last 2 hours. The Toyota Hybrid TS030 #8 steered by Buemi, Davidson and Sarrazin put up a strong challenged but in the end were a lap short.
